We took over 132 passengers on our drift experience taxi ride in Sepang last weekend.

Sync Optima Drift Academy is going to hold a beginner drift lesson this coming November 2011. This is an event mainly targeted at drift beginners, giving basic theories and knowledge on drifting.
Ariff Johanis Ahmad and Azrina Jane Abdullah will be on hand to provide their expertise. Basic Drift Setup Car is also available for rental but on twin sharing basis.
Beginner Class
• 10 participants (max) as we believe in more one to one teaching is the best!
• Lecture of drifting mechanism and technique
• Stop & Turn, Donuts, Figure 8, Slow Circuit
• Ride Along and Drive Along by Instructors
• Lunch provided

• All drivers must have valid driver license, older than 18 years old.
• All vehicles must have valid insurance coverage. • Able to drive Manual Transmission.

We certainly rocked Penang the whole 3 days we were there!!
Enough of the smack talking. Its time to walk the talk with our very own Biatch Match where drifters have a chance to go head to head with anyone they choose on a judged tandem battle. Both drifters are required to go for a qualifying run to determine the order of who leads the first run and the tandem battle is judged like a conventional drift competition where proximity, line and angle is taken into account in determining the winner. We are open for more participants.!!

Having performed badly during the 1st round of this year’s ACE Drift Challenge, it was critical that I do well during this round to have any chances of retaining the title of overchampion for this year. Alas, it was not meant to be with an early knock out during my best 16 run against Johan Norman. The S13 had intermittenly develop misfiring issues and sudden power drop during tsuiso and after 3 (?????) one-more-times, the combo of worn tyres and low power had me give in the Johan’s relentless aggressive runs. This basically has put an end to any hope for this year’s championship
On a better note, Jane performed beautifully through out the weekend inspite of the set back of breaking her gearbox.

Kian and Boy from Chikian workshop did a wonderful job of replacing the gearbox and had her going for the next day of the competition.
Jane had qualified 21st which places her into the best 32!!

Though having an early exit out of best 32, her run against Iranian Drifter , Shah in his 400bhp 180sx was a close one!! Only a uncharacteristic spin during her turn to lead had given the win away!!
